Reminder from City Hall

City crews are picking up yard waste (grass, leaves and branches) as long as it is bagged and at the curb or alley.
Please remove all animal waste from your yard waste before pick-up. Free yard waste pick-up will be discontinued if the yard waste is contaminate with animal waste.

Annual Art Exhibit

Helen Wilson of the Potlatch Arts Council is planning the first annual Potlatch Elementary Art Exhibit to be held April 28 through May 17. Palouse Elementary and the DeSmet Tribal School will also participate.

Local Author Presentation

Jack Skille, , author of “They Came to Hunt; Recollections of a Whitetail Guide” will give a presentation and do book signing Thursday, December 4, at 7 PM at the Potlatch Public Library.

Potlatch Christmas Lighted Parade

Potlatch will hold it’s annual Christmas Lighted Parade on December 13 at 5 PM. Immediately following the parade cocoa and cookies will be served at the Potlatch library. The Potlatch Friends of the Library will provide crafts and activities for the children.

Christmas Lighted Parade / Centennial Kick-Off

The annual Christmas Lighted Parade will be held December 11 at 5 PM and will feature a ceremony celebrating the beginning of the 2005 Potlatch Community Centennial. Keith Peterson and other speakers will Kick-Off the celebration at 3:30 PM at City Hall. Sign up for door prizes and see the restored City Hall.
